A short monsoon drive south of Shillong will take you to some of the rainiest places on earth – Sohra (Cherrapunjee) and Mawsynram. Travel on a serpentine highway flanked by the mountain on one side and a bowl of clouds on the other side. June to August is the best time to experience the mighty rains of Meghalaya.
Meghalaya’s very distinct spring and summer seasons offer the best escape from the rising mercury of the plains – the temperatures rarely cross the mid-twenties and the vegetation is most vivid during this time of the year.
Winters in Meghalaya are a pleasure. It is the most convenient time to enjoy natural excursions in the sub-tropical stretches – a reason why the locals love their picnics during the winter. The higher reaches of Meghalaya offer wondrous wintry scenes because of the thick morning frost but this is also the season of bright sunny days.

Itinerary
Welcome to Guwahati! Pick up from Guwhati Airport and Proceed to Guwahahti city ,check in the hotel. Later Visit Kamakhya temple for darshan , in the evening visit Bramaputra River Cruise. Overnight stay at Guwahahti.
Morning after breakfast, proceed to Kaziranga. Transfer to Kaziranga national park world's largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses, declare as World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its unique natural environment. Evening visit tea garden nearby the park and overnight stay at Kaziranga.
Early morning proceed to riding point in the central range for Elephant safari and Jeep Safari. After Breakfast we will proceed to Shillong. En route, stop to admire the beautiful Umiam Lake. (which feature water sports activities by own). Explore Shillong city then rest and relax in Shillong for the night.
Morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel, proceed to Cherrapunjee. En route Cherrapunji, the wettest place on earth visit weisawdong falls ,7 sister water falls , Nohkalia kai falls , Prut falls , Lyngksiar falls and Arwah Caves or Mawsmai Caves .By evening, check-in to your hotel and overnight Stay at Cherrapunee
Post Breakfast get ready to trek the Double Decker root Bridge ( approximately 3000 steps trek). Later on go on a short trek to blue lagoon , Rainbow water falls. Overnight in Cherrapunjee.
After Breakfast drive to Mawlynnong and Dawki. Visit Mawlynnong first which is known as the cleanest village in Asia tour around the village, visit the Balancing Stone, the Living Root Bridge. Proceed to Dawki visit the Umngot River which offer water activities like boating at Shnong Pdeng village where you will get to visit and see the crystal clear river. In the evening stay overnight at the Hotel in Dawki
After breakfast gets ready to do some thrilling activities like Scuba diving, Kayaking, Zip lining ,Cliff Jumping. In afternoon head to Krang Suri Water Falls or Phe Phe Falls return to Shillong , overnight Stay at Shillong
Post Breakfast drive to Wards lake , Laitlum Canyon , Shillong Peak , Elephant Falls ,sacred forest thereafter explore city market. Return to Shillong for overnight stay in hotel.
Morning after breakfast, proceed to Guwahati visit donbosco Museum , Willaim Wards lake. Proceed to Guwahati Airport for Departure.

Nice two level apartment in great London location. Located in quiet small street, but just 50 meters from main street and bus stop. Tube station is short walk, just like two grocery stores.
