Welcome to Jammu, meet our representative at Jammu railway station and drive towards Srinagar.
This will be a long journey of 07 – 08 hrs . After reaching Srinagar, check in to hotel and relax yourself at your overnight stay in Hotel in Srinagar.
After breakfast in the morning, head to visit Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, renowned for its beautiful waterfronts, houseboats, and gardens.
In the morning, embark on a local sightseeing tour of Srinagar. Visit the famous Mughal Gardens, including Nishat Bagh (The Garden of Pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love), which are beautifully laid out along the shore of Dal Lake. These gardens are a testament to Mughal horticultural expertise and offer a tranquil retreat with their meticulously manicured landscapes and panoramic views of the lake and the mountains beyond.
Next, head to the historic Shankaracharya Temple, situated on a serene hilltop, offering panoramic views of the city. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is an important pilgrimage site for Hindus.
Conclude your day with a soothing Shikara ride on Dal Lake, where you'll glide past floating gardens, houseboats, and a vibrant market on the water. The peaceful atmosphere and stunning sunset views from the lake make for a perfect end to your first day in Kashmir.
After breakfast, set off for a day trip to Gulmarg, known as the 'Meadow of Flowers'. Gulmarg is a breathtakingly beautiful hill station in the Pir Panjal range of the Himalayas and is also a popular skiing destination in the winter.
Upon arrival in Gulmarg, you have the option to enjoy a scenic ride on the Gulmarg Gondola (cable car), which takes you up to Kongdori to enjoy splendid views of the snow-capped mountains. This is one of the highest cable cars in the world and offers stunning vistas of the Himalayan peaks.
Spend the day exploring the beauty of Gulmarg. You may opt for a short trek to Khilanmarg, which offers a breathtaking view of the majestic peaks and meadows. For golf enthusiasts, Gulmarg also houses one of the highest golf courses in the world, offering a unique golfing experience.
After a day full of exploration and adventure, return to Srinagar in the evening and stay overnight at the hotel.
Following breakfast, you'll be heading to Sonmarg, which translates to 'Meadow of Gold'. The drive to Sonmarg is as beautiful as the destination itself, with the Sindh River meandering along the road, surrounded by lofty mountains and flower-laden fields.
Sonmarg serves as the base for several trekking routes that lead into the Himalayan Lakes and mountains. The Thajiwas Glacier is a major attraction here. You can choose to trek or take a pony ride to the glacier, where you can enjoy snow activities even in the summer.
Spend your day exploring the natural beauty of Sonmarg. You might also want to visit the nearby lakes of Vishansar, Krishansar, and Gangabal, which are accessible through trekking routes and offer stunning views of the Himalayan landscape.
In the evening, return to Srinagar for your last night's stay at the hotel establishment, reminiscing about the incredible experiences of the past days.
On your final day, after breakfast, check out from the hotel. Depending on your departure time, you may have some time at leisure to do some last-minute shopping in Srinagar, buying souvenirs like Kashmiri handicrafts, shawls, and spices.
You will then be transferred to the Jammu railway station for your onward journey, taking with you memories of a lifetime from the beautiful valleys of Kashmir
