Founded in the fifteenth century by Guru Ram Das, the fourth guru of the Sikhs. The heritage city of Amritsar is one of the most spiritually significant and historically rich cities of India. The name of the city has its etymological roots in the Punjabi language and Amritsar comes from Amrit Sarovar, which when literally translated from Punjab means of pool of nectar. Dalhousie is a popular tourist destination in Himachal Pradesh and perhaps the state's most well-known hill station. It is widely spread over the five mountains of Kathlog, Potreyn, Terah, Bakrota, and Bhangora. Established by Lord Dalhousie in 1850, the city still displays many remnants of its colonial heritage. However, sightseeing is only one of several activities available in this area. Those who go to Dalhousie come to spend time in nature, and nature never leaves their side.

Itinerary
Arrive at the designated reporting place, report to coach and proceed to Dalhousie – a famous hill station named after its founder Lord Dalhousie, the British Governor-General in India. This little town is known for its pleasant climate and natural beauty surrounded by beautiful snow-capped mountains
Morning Proceed to Khajjiar. En-route see Sardar Ajit Singh Smarak – a freedom fighter and uncle of Shahid Bhagat Singh. Visit Khaijar known as Mini Switzerland due to the striking topographical resemblance of the place with Switzerland. Here one can enjoy various activities like horse riding, Paragliding, Zorbing etc. at an additional cost. Later enjoy a scenic boat ride at Chamera lake. The Chamera is an artificial lake, which is surrounded by beautiful green trees and exquisite valleys.
Morning travel to Dharamshala – is the winter capital of Himachal Pradesh. It is also known as the home of Dalai Lama and all the Tibetans in exile.
On arrival visit Bhagsunag Temple, built in 18th century dedicated to lord Shiva and Dalai Lama Monastery also known as Namgyal Monastery is the personal monastery of 14th Dalai Lama. Here we also enjoy rope way ride of Dharamshala which is also called as a Dharamshala Skyway. Then we visit Aghanjar Mahadev Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Later visit picturesque Dharamshala Stadium (Subject to operation) surround by snow capped mountains. Enjoy shopping at Macleodganj Bazaar.
Proceed to Amritsar. En-route we visit Jwalaji Temple – one of the most ancient tempel and also a shaktipeeth known for its continuous burning sacred flame. On arrival evening free for leisure & relaxation.
Morning get immersed in the peaceful and serene atmosphere of the sacred Golden Temple – the holiest shrine of Sikh religion. Later proceed to visit Jallianwala Bagh – noted for the most infamous massacre under British Raj. Evening visit Gobindgarh fort – a historic military fort was built to protect the city from invaders, followed by a Light and Sound show (Subject to Operation). Later enjoy special Amritsari Style Dinner at Gobindgarh fort.
Today we visit Partition Museum called as a People's Museum to remember all those millions who lost their homes or loved ones at the time of partition. Enjoy free time shopping. Later we visit Atrari Wagah Border to enjoy lowering the flag ceremony.
